Model 2441 POF ST Cable Connector
The ST connector brings the industry accepted quality, alignment and reliability to
applications using plastic optical fiber, POF. This connector is designed to accept
POF cable that has a 1mm core.
Features Include:
- The ferrule of the connector is stainless steel and accommodates a POF
core fiber size of 1000um with a typical loss of .5dB.
- The connector is
designed for simple crimp on the outside polyethylene jacket of the POF
cable. The POF core extending out of the ferrule is then cut with a razor
blade or hot knife.
